English: The Expedition 64 prime and backup crew members pose for a picture outside of the cottage where Yuri Gagarin slept the night before his historic flight on April 12, 1961 to become the first human in space, Wednesday, Oct. 7, 2020, at the Baikonur Cosmodrome in Kazakhstan. From left to right are the prime crew members Kate Rubins of NASA, Sergey Kud-Sverchkov of Roscosmos, and Sergey Ryzhikov of Roscosmos, and backup crew members Oleg Novitskiy of Roscosmos, Petr Dubrov of Roscosmos, and Mark Vande Hei of NASA. Rubins, Kud-Sverchkov, and Ryzhikov are scheduled to launch to the International Space Station aboard the Soyuz MS-17 spacecraft on October 14. |
