Summary[edit]

Description
English: U.S. Navy aviation ordnancemen run clear after attaching a target tow-banner to a McDonnell Douglas F/A-18C Block 50 Hornet (BuNo 165216) assigned to Strike Fighter Squadron (VFA) 34 "Blue Blasters" at Naval Air Station Key West. Tow banners are used as an effective low-cost device for air-to-air and surface-to-air gunnery training and are trailed approximately 600 m feet behind the tow aircraft.
