Summary[edit]

English: Fibre density (and myelination) versus age for the posterior sections of the Corpus Callosum. Density (and myelination) increases during childhood, adolescence, and early adulthood, peaking, and then decreasing (at a slower rate) during later adulthood. Adapted from Age-related regional variations of the corpus callosum identified by diffusion tensor tractography, Catherine Lebel et al., NeuroImage 52, 2010
