Summary
[edit]DescriptionFirst locomotives used on the Nfl Railway were tiny! (27496067892).jpg |
English: An old photograph of one of the first locomotives build for the Newfoundland Railway. There seems to be a discrepancy in this poster here. It shows an 0-6-0T and says it was built by Hunslett initially for the Prince Edward Island Railway. Wikipedia shows the PEI engine as a 4-4-0T. The 0-6-0T was, as per Wikipedia, built by Hawthorn Leslie in 1881 for the erstwhile Harbour Grace Railway and was sold in 1898 to the Botwood Railway.
