English: The Ottoman flag of 1844–1922. Late Ottoman flag which was made based on the historical documents listed in the Source section. Note that a five-pointed star was rarely used in the star-and-crescent symbol before the 19th century.

Other versions Derivated from User:Kerem Özcan's Ottoman Flag.svg and Ottoman flag alternative 2.svg. The star shape was slightly updated by DsMurat and the color of the flag was readjusted by Niusereset in the newer versions, as seen in the file history. Finally, Orwellianist revised the thickness of crescent and star based on the additional historical photos.
