| Description |
May 6, 2011 A rare look into the cockpit of an IAF pilot. The IAF pilots undergo the Israeli military's most rigorous training while in flight school, learning how to excel at any given task. As part of the IAF main objective of protecting the life of Israeli civilians, its pilots have taken a goal upon themselves to be as accurate as possible when targeting those who aim to harm Israel. The goal to avoid any civilian casualties at all cost, has led to the IDF holding the lowest ratio of civilian to enemy hits. Featured as photo of the day on December 13, 2011.
