English: This kind of Rubik's Cube is called Floppy Cube or 3×3×1. You can see it here in the solved state. His mechanism allows to turn the front, the right, the back and the left side, and also the two inner layers 180°. You can them turn 90°, too, but then you can't turn anything else, without turning your side the rest of the 180° (and the two layers, which are parallel to your side). The total number of permutations of the Floppy Cube is 192 and you can it solve always in less or exactly 8 moves.
Deutsch: Dieser Zauberwürfel trägt den Namen Floppy Cube oder 3×3×1. Hier ist er im gelösten Zustand zu sehen. Sein Mechanismus erlaubt es, die vordere, die rechte, die hintere, die linke Seite und die zwei inneren Seiten jeweils um 180° zu drehen. Man kann sie zwar auch nur um 90° drehen, aber dann lässt sich nichts anderes mehr drehen, ausgenommen diese Seite, die man dann noch um 90° weiterdrehen kann (außerdem kann man auch noch die zwei parallel liegenden Seiten drehen). Den Floppy Cube kann man in insgesamt 192 verschiedene Stellungen drehen und ihn aus jeder in maximal 8 Zügen lösen. |
