English: Footpath The photograph shows a footpath connecting 332006 (behind the Viewpoint) to Old Pit Lane, Danesmoor and on to Pilsley Road, Danesmoor. (See this photograph by Alan Heardman 311396.)
The industrial estate is on the site of old colliery workings and to the left of the industrial estate it is possible to make out the Danesmoor housing estates. Beyond the Danesmoor industrial and housing estates is Clay Cross where it is just possible to make out the spire of St. Bartholomew's Church. Approximately 50 metres to the right (easterly) of this viewpoint one 332063 leads to Parkhouse Farm, Lower Pilsley and another 332069 leads to Padley Wood Lane. |
