Summary[edit]

Description
English: Fordson Tractor and the Ryedale Folk Museum A British built tractor made during the war. The size of the mudguards were reduced to save steel. The War Agricultural Executive Committee, which controlled all food production in Britain, issued permits for farmers to buy these tractors. So successful was the design that 90% of all tractors working in Britain in 1945 were Fordsons. The cost was about £200.
