Dezember 1552 auf der Insel Shangchuan Dao bei Kanton in China), im deutschsprachigen Raum bekannt als der Heilige Franz Xaver, war einer der Pioniere christlicher Mission in Asien und Mitbegründer der Gesellschaft Jesu.
