Description
English: Duel, perhaps the combat between Horatii and Curiatii, more probably the combat between Romulus and Remus, described by some ancient authors as having taken place near the Ficus Ruminalis. Pentelic marble, fragment from the frieze of the Basilica Aemilia, 1st century BC–1st century AD.
Français : Duel, peut-être le combat entre les Horaces et les Curiaces, plus probablement celui entre Romulus et Rémus, placé par certains auteurs antiques à proximité du Ficus ruminalis. Marbre pentélique, fragment de la frise de la Basilique émilienne, Ier siècle av. J.-C.-Ier siècle apr. J.-C.
