Nesher Givat Nesher - neighborhood in the city Nesher established in 1949 as a workers' neighborhood for the factory "Nesher Israel Cement Enterprises"

שכונת גבעת נשר בעיר נשר. נוסדה בשנת 1949 כשכונת פועלים ועובדים של בית החרושת למלט נשר

תצפית מכוון מזרח ממחצבת נשר הישנה רחוב יפה נוף. לאורך התמונה רחוב המגינים ובהמשכו רחוב המעפילים. מרחוב המגינים כלפי מעלה יוצאים שני רחובות: מימין רחוב נתיב הטרשים ומשמאל רחוב יפה נוף. בתחילת השטח שבין שני רחובות אלה שכנה עמדה מבטון מס' 4 אשר הוקמה לפני מלחמת העצמאות מסביב לגדר של נשר בכדי להגן על בתי שכונת נשר מפני תושבי בלד א- שייח' אשר הגיעו מכוון מערב דרך שהגבעה שעליה שוכנת היום שכונת גבעת נשר.
