Description
English: A gold target on a copper mount inside an XPS spectrometer under Ultra high vacuum conditions of about 2E-6 mbar pressure, being bombarded with Argon atoms (invisible) from a sputter gun (out of frame).
Deutsch: Eine Goldprobe auf einer Kupfer-Halterung im Innern eines Röntgen-Photoelektronenspektrometers unter Ultrahochvakuum-Bedingungen von etwa 2E-6 mbar, die von einer Sputter-Gun (nicht im Bild) mit Argon-Atomen beschossen wird (unsichtbar).
