Description
Deutsch: Grete Jost auch Margarete, (* 26. Mai 1916 in Wien; † 15. Jänner 1943 in Wien), war eine kommunistische Widerstandskämpferin gegen den Austrofaschismus und Nationalsozialismus.

Grete Jost wohnte mit ihrer Familie in Wien 3., Baumgasse 39 (Rabenhof). Am 8.2.1941 wird Grete Jost verhaftet und am 15.Jänner 1943 durch das Fallbeil hingerichtet. Ihre

letzten Worte waren: „Es lebe die Freiheit!“
English: Grete Jost also Margaret, (born May 26, 1916, in Vienna; died January 15, 1943 in Vienna), was a communist resistance fighter against the Austrofascism and Nazism.

Grete Jost lived with her family in Vienna 3, Baumgasse 39 (Rabenhof). On the 8.2.1941, Grete Jost arrested and executed in 1943 by the guillotine on the 15.January.

Their last words were: "Long live freedom!"
