Description

Haliaeetus leucocephalus

English: Haliaeetus leucocephalus (bald eagle) landing into his nest. Bald eagles generally lay 2 to 3 eggs in a large nest made of sticks and smaller twigs in tall trees or on rocky cliffs. Picture taken on Kodiak Island.
Français : Haliaeetus leucocephalus (pygargue à tête blanche) en train de se poser sur son nid. Les pygargues à tête blanche pondent généralement de 2 à 3 œufs dans un grand nid fait de branches de diverses tailles, ou dans une falaise rocheuse. Photo prise sur l'île Kodiak.
