Description
English: Looking at the Brooklyn-Battery Tunnel ventilation building from behind home plate in Harold Ickes Playground, on the east side of.Van Brunt Street at Hamilton Avenue in Red Hook, Brooklyn. The park, named after Harold L. Ickes, sits atop the Brooklyn portal for the Brooklyn-Battery Tunnel. Unlike the other two vent buildings for the tunnel which are white stone, this one is finished with red brick. Taken during the 2018 New York City ePrix.
