A portion of the vast Hellas Basin, incorporating the transition of the fractured, terraced rim (top) into the smoother frost-covered basin floor (bottom). The region was imaged by the High Resolution Stereo Camera on ESA’s Mars Express on 6 December 2015 during orbit 15127.
