English: Highland Water stream emerges from culvert beneath A31 at Ocknell The A31 is here embanked and runs along the sky line. This place is curiously named Ocknell Arch on 1:2500 OS map, although there is no sign of an arch here. The wooden barrier is hinged, presumably to permit large debris to pass, but this is unlikely to happen as there is a grating at the other end of the culvert. |
