| Description |
English: Hury valve tower gate, Locked! The valve tower at Hury was built about 50 feet from the eastern wall. It stands in about 90 feet of water and is connected to the dam head via a metal walkway. Within the tower is a spiral staircase that takes you to a tunnel at the bottom, which leads eastwards under the dam wall and exits into the River Balder.The reservoir was built in the 1890s. |
