English: Customer side view of a model HybridCheckout counter, where the customer scanning area and customer monitor is shown as the lane to the right. This area is the self-service area to be operated by the customer.

The cashier scanning area is shown in the left lane with a separate cashier monitor. The flow of articles is from the loading conveyor area in the lower part of the photo to the packing area with movable barriers in the upper part of the photo.
