Summary[edit]

Description

The bright stars hung for sale for Christmas shoppers. Cochin and Kerala as a whole have a significant Christian population so Xmas decorations are common and as is everything in India, bright.

Coincidentally, I hit Cochi the day after American Thanksgiving when in North America Christmas shopping would suddenly be in full swing, so it was funny to suddenly wander into to decoration street in the Cochi market area. Felt a little like home.

I absolutely loved the bright colours of all the stars though. Just the right amount of garish.
