Dans la voiture R2, la rame Infra 320 embarque tout ce qu'il faut pour vérifier et analyser le courant qui passe dans le rail et transmet au train comme au PCC les informations essentielles à la circulation (comme la vitesse à laquelle le train doit rouler ou sa position). Ceci n'est qu'une toute petite partie, bien entendu, mais on voit un moniteur qui décrit ce qui se passe (il s'agit dans notre cas d'une simulation, le train est censé rouler sur la ligne Lyon-Marseille à 100 km/h au niveau du kilomètre 366).
