Notes
  • Significance: The Warehouse (Building No. 1413) was part of the initial construction contract for the base in 1942. The prime building contractor was the United Construction Company of Rapid City, South Dakota, and it is assumed that they constructed this building. [United was a consortium of local builders formed specifically to undertake the base building construction project.] This building has served as a warehouse since its construction, although it has been assigned to various base operational units over the years.
  • Survey number: HABS SD-21-U
  • Building/structure dates: 1942 Initial Construction
