日本語: F-2は、米国のF-16を、日本の運用の考え方や地理的な特性に合わせ、日米の優れた技術を結集し日米共同で改造開発した戦闘機です。昭和63年にFS-Xとして開発に着手し、平成7年に初飛行、12年度に開発は完了しました。F-16からの主な改造点は、旋回性能の向上のため主翼面積を増やし、軽量化のため先進材料や先進構造を取り入れたこと。また離陸性を高めるためエンジンを推力向上型に変え、さらに最新レーダーなど、先進の電子機器を採用しています。 |
