Description

Crews ready the concrete that will be poured into the 30-foot high wall that lines the Folsom Dam Auxiliary Spillway chute.

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Sacramento District and our contractor, Kiewit Infrastructure, made the final concrete pour of the Folsom Dam Auxiliary Spillway April 28, 2016. It took nearly three years to pour 186,600 cubic yards of concrete that make up this portion of the Joint Federal Project in Folsom, Calif. The Auxiliary Spillway is scheduled for completion in October 2017.
