Joen Joensen var prest ved Trondhjems Hospital fra 1606, sogneprest i Orkdal fra 1618. Maleri henger i Orkdal kirke.

Tavlens inskripsjon: Anno 1634. den 20. 8ctobr. Till guds ere oc kierckens benÿdelse[??] hafuer HER joen joensen foræret denne tafle till Ørckedals kiercke den tid pastor her sammesteds
