Description
English: Original caption: Post-recovery, car # 1071, interior view, from the area proximate to the service side doors at one end of the railcar, facing the opposite end of the car, depicting most of the entire passenger compartment of the car (i.e. seats and center aisle, stanchion posts, etc), describing the degree of essentially no damage that resulted to the passenger compartment of the car or loss of occupant survival space (which, the Investigation observed, also could be considered somewhat representative of the other 1000 Series cars in the Accident that were identified to have experienced essentially no damage to the passenger compartment or loss of occupant survival space, as individually identified in the Crashworthiness Factual Report of the

Investigation).
