| Notes | One of a pair. It was donated by the Queen Marie Louise together with an ebony altar to the newly established church and monastery of the French Order of the Visitation of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Warsaw. Adopted for a tabernacle, adorned with silver plaques depicting Mars and Venus and personifications of the Four Seasons, winged chimeras, puttos, fruits. The inner side of the doors was decorated with the Fiery serpent and the Entombment (at right), the Original sin and Prophet Jonah (at left). | |||||||||||||||||||||||
