Summary[edit]
DescriptionKB Ahnmatae Phonetic Hangul Keyboard.svg |
English: Ahnmatae Phonetic Hangul Keyboard (the official website: http://www.ahnmatae.org - now URL broken), a Korean keyboard layout invented by Matthew Y. Ahn, a retired Episcopal Church (of the United States) clergyman. This layout is patented in the United States and the Republic of Korea. It is a new Sebeolsik (three-set type) layout because it has three set of hangul letters: choseongs
초성(初聲) or cheotsoris 첫소리 (onset consonants), jungseongs 중성(中聲) or gaundetsoris 가운뎃소리 (vowels), and jongseongs 종성(終聲) or kkeutsoris 끝소리 (final consonants). The green letters are choseongs, the orange ones are jungseongs, and the red ones are jongseongs. |
