Summary[edit]

Description
English: Kempu Aritha Idli and Kadamba Chutney (Red Rice Steamed Cakes and Kadamba Idli)

Red Rice Idli is a traditional South Indian breakfast item. It is made by soaking a variety of red rice and urad dal (Vigna Mungo) in water, grinding both with water, and leaving the mixture for fermentation. Next, it is steamed in an steamer. Kadamba chutney is made using Byadgi chillies and roasted lentils tempered with groundnut oil and spices.

This picture was taken as a flatlay and underwent minimal processing to increase the brightness and warmth.
