Summary[edit]

Description
English: Keyingham Road, Ottringham, East Riding of Yorkshire, England.
Early 19th century milepost with a cast iron plate bearing the inscription 'PATTRINGTON 4 HULL 14' (Patrington these days is spelt with only one 't'). It also has a benchmark on the left side. The milepost was buried at the start of WWII when all signposts were removed during the threat of invasion and it was not rediscovered and replaced until 1998. The mast on the horizon belongs to NTL telephones.
