English: Round-headed plaque between two windows of the south wall, displaying the Crucifixion on the top, with “1644” in the upper right corner and following inscription below (transcription taken from Westropp): “Under these carved marbel stones lieth Connor O'Flanaga's body and bones. Which monument was made by Anabel his wife. Orate pro eis. Laus Deo.” See p. 28 in Westropp, Thomas Johnson. 1894. “Churches with Round Towers in Northern Clare. (part I)”.
