Summary[edit]

Description
English: In 1143 a new three-aisled monastery church was consecrated on the Disibodenberg in the southern Hunsrück. There the believers venerated the tomb of St. Disibod. The namesake of the mountain settled there in the 7th century and spread Christianity in the region.
Deutsch: Im Jahr 1143 wurde auf dem Disibodenberg im südlichen Hunsrück eine neue dreischiffige Klosterkirche geweiht. Dort verehrten die Gläubigen das Grab des heiligen Disibod. Der Namensgeber des Berges hatte sich im 7. Jahrhundert dort niedergelassen und das Christentum in der Region verbreitet.
