Summary[edit]

Description
English: Photograph of a mural on a ghost screen in the Kong Family Mansion, Qufu, Shandong, China. The mural is placed on the inner side of the only exit from the inner (residential) compound of the mansion. It depicts a greedy mythical beast that although it already had every treasure in the world, still wanted to devour the sun. The painting probably served as a warning not to take bribes when conducting business outside.
