Summary
[edit]DescriptionKralyar 0.jpg |
English: An self-published, artist-signed postcard of India, [Verso] "to be obtained from Miss Barne, St. Ebbas, Madras and from Miss Farnell, 56, Manchester Square, W. I [London]." Given how many British men and women in India were amateur painters, it is surprising that more did not publish postcards themselves, or if they did, these are exceedingly rare. This was part of a series of six scenes around Srinagar, Kashmir. |
