Summary[edit]

Description
English: Spc. Jesse Kline, a mechanic and welder from Lancaster, Pa., fabricates a lifting brace for a generator at Camp Adder, Iraq. Kline is deployed with the Pennsylvania National Guard's 2/104th General Support Aviation Battalion. Prior to deployment, Kline worked in administration at Fort Indiantown Gap, but he plans to begin an apprenticeship as a tattoo artist when he returns. He was also the lead singer for Sacred Theory, a rock band based in Lancaster that played many central Pennsylvania venues. For Kline, the living conditions at Camp Adder are much better than he anitcipated, because he had heard stories from his father, a veteran of Desert Storm. "I expected to be sweating in tents and digging holes. Our living trailers are a pleasant surprise; just two roommates and reliable air conditioning," he said. "When my dad was in Kuwait, the AC worked one day a week."
