| Description |
Le palais de Tash Khauli a été construit de 1831 à 1841. Il fut la résidence du Khan de Khiva. Le palais comprenait un harem organisé autour d'une cour intérieure bordée d'appartements d'été et d'hiver pour le Khan et ses 4 femmes. Les appartements sont tous conçus selon la même architecture : un haut iwan ouvert en direction du nord-ouest, pour l'été et une pièce attenante pour les mois d'hiver. L'ensemble a été décoré de majolique bleue et blanche d'Abdoullah Djinn. Les plafonds en bois sont décorés de motifs jaunes et rouges. |
