Summary[edit]
| Description |
English: Leaky Aqueduct over the disused section of the Bala and Festiniog Railway between Blaenau Ffestiniog and Trawsfynydd Nuclear Power Station. This section closed in 1998, after the closure of the power station, although the track is protected and has remained in situ since. When this railway was built circa 1917 it was obviously felt that it was important that this river continued on its path. In modern times it now leaks quite well down the left hand column in the picture. |
