Provenienza  : Biblioteca di Gino Capponi, donato a Cesare Guasti e da questi all'accademia l'11 aprile 1876.

Legatura  : Antica in seta damascata su pelle.

Misure  : 127x91mm.

Condizioni  : discrete (Legatura molto stanca, costola strappata e 

               mancante per circa 1 cm in alto e 2 cm e mezzo in
               basso; cc. a tratti molto macchiate e brunite.).

Descrizione  : Codicetto membranaceo di 52 cc., num. ant. a lapis da 

               1 a 48, non num. le prime tre e l'ultima c.; sulla
               prima c. non num. nota a penna di mano ignota che
               attribuisce la proprietà del codice a Carlo Dati, sul
               v. della stessa appunti di mano ignota a penna,
               timbro col frullone accademico sul r. della seconda
               c. sul v. della quale e sul r. della terza c., di
               mano ignota cinquecentesca, a penna, figura la copia
               di un'antica preghiera e, ripetuto, il timbro col
               frullone, sul v. della terza c. ricordi di proprietà
               del codice, a penna di due mani, sotto le date 1659 e
               1874, e del dono fatto all'accademia in data 1876;
               contiene una copia della fine del trecento della
               Leggenda di S. Margherita, scritta in inchiostro nero
               e rosso, alla c. 2, capolettera istoriato; sul piatto
               interno  incollato un ex libris a stampa di Gino
               Capponi e, in alto a lapis, antica segnatura.

Incipit  : Qui comincia il prolago della leggenda di santa 

               Margherita vergine e martire. Dopo la passione ella
               rexurrectione del nostro Signore

Explicit  : Oratione utile ordinaria. Ave Jeshu benigne pie
