Description Lenço de seda de Santos Dumont, com as iniciais (SD). O inventor brasileiro construiu o 14 Bis, e é considerado o "Pai da Aviação". O lenço de Santos Dumont foi ao espaço em 2006 na Missão Centenário, nome dado a missão pela Agência Espacial Brasileira (AEB) em homenagem ao histórico voo do inventor brasileiro. O lenço foi carimbado com os carimbos da Estação Espacial Internacional (ISS) e ao retornar do espaço, o astronauta Marcos Pontes devolveu o lenço original a Marcos Vilares, sobrinho bisneto de Santos Dumont em um evento, em outubro de 2006. O artista Romero Britto fez a ilustração ‘O coração alado’, que simboliza o amor que serviu de combustível a esses brasileiros para atingirem seus objetivos. O lenço esteve presente na Abertura da Copa do Mundo no Brasil em 2014, no Exoesqueleto "Santos Dumont" que foi desenvolvido pele equipe do cientista brasileiro Miguel Angelo Nicolelis, o deficiente físico Juliano Alves Pinto foi o paciente que chutou a bola, ambos autografaram o lenço. Foi a primeira vez que o lenço histórico foi exposto ao público no dia 14 de junho de 2015 no Arraiá Aéreo em Bauru.
