| Description |
Français : Durant la Première Guerre mondiale, Lille est occupée par l’armée allemande dès le 12 octobre 1914. Le musée est réquisitionné mais reste ouvert jusqu’en 1918. Le conservateur Émile Théodore et ses équipes tentent de mettre les œuvres à l'abri. Certaines d'entre elles ont été évacuées vers le Musée Royal des Beaux-Arts de Bruxelles.
English: During the First World War, Lille is occupied by the German army from October 12 1914. The museum is requisitioned but remains open until 1918. Emile Theodore (curator ot the museum) and his team are here trying to put the pieces away. Some of them were evacuated to the Royal Museum of Fine Arts in Brussels . |
