The Leviathan of Parsonstown, the 6 foot telescope of William Parsons, 3rd Earl of Rosse (1800-1867). The photo also features Lawrence Parsons, 4th Earl of Rosse (1840-1908). Taken at Birr Castle, Parsonstown, Offaly.
