1. Data for the Murmansk region in Russia and for Finnmark/Troms in Norway seems to correspond to the ethnic Sami minority, however, since Russians and Norwegians today form the dominant ethnic groups in each respective region the real data is likely closer to the national figures for Norway and Russia. 2. I very much doubt the contrast between southern Ukraine along the Black Sea and northern Ukraine is that striking, I do not have reason to believe Ukrainians or Russians living in the Donetsk region are less fair-eyed than those around Kiev. 3. The data for Italy does not take into account mid-20th century inner migration from the southern half to thehttp://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Special:UploadWizard# more industrialized northern half, as a result I have reason to believe that data for the Po Valley region in Northern Italy should today correspond to data from the central parts of the country.

4. I do not know if data for Spain is that contrasting today, due to inner migration I would think the differences between north and south aren't quite as striking, perhaps excluding the Galicia and Andalusia regions.
