| Description |
English: The exit from Liverpool Lime Street, in tunnels and cuttings up to Edge Hill. View eastward, towards Edge Hill, thence Manchester, Crewe etc.; ex-London & North Western main lines. On the left Stanier 4P 2-6-4T No. 42607 is leaving on a local (probably to Wigan), on the right is an express. All trains faced a climb of about 1½ miles at 1-in-93 straight out of the terminus. |
