Summary[edit]

Description

I hadn't travelled on this trackbed since about 1970, so quite an odd feeling. The old Dalston Junction stationopened in 1865 and closed in 1986. The re-opening took place on 27 April 2010 with limited services, with full services commencing on 23 May 2010. The opposing view from the bridge ,illustrating the Wikipedia page, may be seen here

The track in the centre is the one which will swing round through the station to connect with the North London line alignmentto Highbury and Islington eventually.
