Français : Ce portrait est issu de la table dite d’Austerlitz
Cette table est commandée en 1806 à la manufacture de Sèvres pour commémorer la bataille d'Austerlitz. Charles Percier est choisit, pour realizer le plateau. Il comporte un médaillon central avec le portrait de Napoléon, d’où partent treize rayons aux noms des victoires de la campagne et séparant de plus petits médaillons avec les portraits de deux grands officiers et onze maréchaux avec leurs titres nobiliaires. Jean-Baptiste Isabey a peint le plateau.
Louis-Nicolas Davout (1770-1823) est maréchal d'Empire, colonel général des grenadiers à pied de la Garde impériale, duc d'Auerstaedt et prince d'Eckmühl.
