English: Bird's Eye View of Busy Downtown Ferndale, California, post 1894 and pre 1896. The Russ, Early & Williams brick store is at left foreground, then three smaller buildings and the forward-facing pitched roof "Gilt-Edge Hotel" with restaurant sign. Next to that is the 1894 Dan A.
