Српски (ћирилица): Недалеко од села Кленике код Врања смештен је поред реке Пчиње импресивни манастирски комплекс Св. Прохора Пчињског. Према предању, византијски цар Роман Диоген засновао је у XI веку манастир у знак захвалности св. Прохору, једном од чувених словенских мисионара и просветитеља. Краљ Милутин је обновио старо светилиште и позвао из Солуна познате сликаре Михаила и Евтихија који су 1316. или 1317. осликали нови храм. Део фресака, са потписом Михаила, откривен је на северном зиду. После турских разарања храм је заслугом ктитора Марина из Кратова обновљен и осликан фрескама 1489, које се по стилским одликама сврставају у најзначајнија сликарска дела с краја XV века у Србији. Капела са јужне стране цркве осликана је у XVI веку фрескама високих уметничких квалитета. Садашња монументална вишекуполна црква, сазидана 1898, обухватила је добрим делом старија здања. У манастирском комплексу су два стара конака. Доминира „врањски” конак монументалних размера и лепоте, изграђен између 1854–1862. понајвише заслугом Хаџи-Михаила Погачаревића, трговца из Врања. Истраживачки и конзерваторски радови на цркви и манастирским здањима одвијају се перманентно.
English: The Monastery of Venerable Prohor of Pčinja (commonly known as Prohor Pčinjski) is an 11th-century Serbian Orthodox monastery in the deep south in Serbia, located in the village of Klenike, some 30 km south of Vranje, near the border with Macedonia. It is situated at the slopes of Mount Kozjak at the left side of the Pčinja River. The monastery was founded in the 11th century and is the second largest Serbian Orthodox monastery complex after Hilandar
