Español: Manuel Blanco Romasanta fue El Hombre Lobo de Allariz, confeso autor de 9 muertes en la provincia de Ourense, (España) en la primera mitad del Siglo XIX. Blanco Romasanta fue calificado como uno de los más casos claros de licantropía, y condenado, primero a morir en garrote vil, aunque luego indultado a cadena perpetua por la entonces Reina de España, Isabel II. Su historia dio origen a numerosas leyendas, como la de O Home do Unto (El Hombre del Sebo) y O Sacamanteigas (El Sacamantecas), y en ella se inspiraron novelas como El Bosque de Ancines (Martínez Barbeito) y películas como El Bosque del Lobo (Pedro Olea) y, más recientemente, Romasanta, la caza de la bestia (Paco Plaza).
