Cymraeg: Mae'r map 'Gwyddoniaeth y Dinesydd' yma yn amlygu cadarnleoedd y gog a mannau 'di-gog' yng Nghymru dan amodau unigryw y Caethiwo Covid19 hyd 10 Mai 2020, Amlygir cadarnleoedd yn ardal Y Bala i Ddolgellau, a mannau gwan/absennol yn yr iseldir (Môn, Llyn ac efallai de-orllewin Cymru a Chlwyd, Oherwydd amodau'r caethiwo, ni chynrychiolir yr ucheldir di-annedd o gwbl. Mantais y map yw'r gwahaniaethu rhwng 'dim cogau' (categori 0) a 'dim cofnodion' (dim categori).
English: This "Citizen Science" map reveals cuckoo 'hotspots' and areas of 'no cuckoos' in Wales under the unique conditions of the Covid19 'lockdown' up to 10 May 2020. Obvious hotspots appear in the inhabited uplands between Y Bala and Dolgellau, while the cuckoo appears largely absent from lowland Anglesey and Lleyn, at least. The advantage of the map is that it distinguishes between 'no cuckoos' (category 0) and 'no records' (no points registered). No records could be obtained from the highest uninhabited uplands. |
